[MEME] I write like...

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] whichclothes ^^:

I used the first chapter of Shades of Grey for this meme and it told me that

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I don't even know who he is ^^;;; I think it's wikipedia time...

................

Here is what they say about him:

¤¤¤ Los Angeles Times book editor David Ulin called Wallace "one of the most influential and innovative writers of the last 20 years."

XD I don't think I'm really an innovative write. But what the heck. Maybe I'll be the new Wallace in a couple of years. One can only dream ;p

¤¤¤ Themes and styles
Wallace's fiction is often concerned with irony.

Irony? O.o I can't write irony to save my life. I wonder how they create their analysis: it must be totally random...

¤¤¤ Wallace's novels often combine various writing modes or voices, and incorporate jargon and vocabulary (sometimes invented) from a wide variety of fields. His writing featured self-generated abbreviations and acronyms, long multi-clause sentences, and a notable use of explanatory footnotes and endnotes—often nearly as expansive as the text proper.

This reminds me of Terry Pratchett. I love the book Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman: it's simply hilarious and I don't even count how many time I read it already ;p

I just hope I won't die like him: poor guy suicided after two decades of severe depression T_T

[ICONS] Harry Potter Icons

I just realized that I haven't that many Harry Potter icons, contrary to what I thought. Can anybody rec me people/communities where I can find great HP icons?
(especially about Severus and the books/story symbols (like a dark mark and such))
