So, Pinboard user-scripts.
Some of them are very useful, others are just beauty accessories ;p
Here is a list:
(last updated: 10/08/2011, 6:39 pm (UTC +01:00, Paris) )
• Organize Taglist in Posting Page
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
On the posting page that shows your tags, divides the tags up alphabetically. Adds a list of letters above the taglist which can be used to jump to different sections of the list.
OMG YES!!! \O/
I needed this so bad, you have no idea! I use so many tags, seeing them all in one block hurt my eyes so bad ^^;;;
• Advanced Customization: Styling the Posting Page Taglist
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/4485.html
This post is about yet another new script, one that needs many paragraphs to describe how it works and how to set it up to suit your personal needs.
You know how there's the "popup with tags" bookmarklet that opens up the posting window and includes a list of all your tags underneath the form? [info]christycorr wanted a way to have some control over how the tags in that list were displayed, like hiding any that started with "author:", for example. So I made a script that allows you to specify what text to look for in your tags, and when it finds tags that match, it adds custom styling info to them. If this sounds like something you want to try out, and you have both Firefox and a little bit of CSS know-how, read on!
This is great if you want to create bundle like groups on your bookmarklet page. Easy enough to modify the script (there is only one or two things I don't know how to use, but I asked ^^
• Change Tag Link Colour in Posting Page
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/115030
On the posting page that shows your tag list, use custom colour for the tag links. Requires you to edit the script file a bit to choose a link colour and a hover colour.
And there my eyes say: Thank you so much! The light grey color was hell on my eyes after a while. Being able to turn it to black is much, much better! ^^
• Date Lines
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
Adds a date line between different dates on pinboard.in
So you know with just a glance which bookmarks have been added last day.
• Tag Frequency Autocomplete
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
So after renaming all my tags to have prefixes, I have to type a bunch more in the tags field before I get a good autocomplete match. Plus, the Pinboard autocomplete sorts the matches alphabetically, not by which tags I use the most, so then I have to type even more. Obviously, this just won't do.
I don't need it, since I use the bookmarklet that shows all tags, but it can be pretty useful.
• Sort Visible Links
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
You can sort all the links on the page by their title, URL or popularity.
• Slash Tag Emboldener:
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
Makes tags that have forward slashes in them stand out better in Pinboard.
If you want to see in a glance which pairing is used.
• URL Cleaner
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3488.html
On the /add page (ie: the bookmarklet), highlights URLs with form params and anchors, and inserts a link that, when clicked, strips them out.
Mostly I use this one to strip out style=mine, mode=reply, etc. because I like to bookmark only clean links. Not useful for kinkmeme threads, but still handy for many LJ and DW links.
As she said, it's not useful for kink memes and comment fics, but for all the others, it could help us bookmark the same link all the time instead of bookmarking five versions of the same link ;p Very handy, since it isn't selected automatically, but you need to click a button to clean the link: that way, no need to worry about your kink meme link being cut off without asking your opinion!
• Pinboard prettified
http://greedy-dancer.livejournal.com/603147.html
[...] and I tried to find a way to tweak the colour scheme to my taste a little.
I installed the Stylish Firefox add-on and used the Pinboard Prettified userstyle. I tweaked the colours to something I liked better, removed the line between bookmarks and replaced it with this Greasemonkey script that adds a line between days. (Obviously you need to install the Greasemonkey add-on first)
• Pop-up with tags, now with a vertical scrollbar
http://pinboard.livejournal.com/3017.html
The bookmarklet for the add link page showing the tags provided by Pinboard had a glinch on Firefox: no scrollbar. So when you had lots of bookmarks, you couln't access the ones at the end of the page. You'll find here the code to use to update your bookmark so that it will show the scrollbar.
